The arched top mahogany case with carved leaf design crest to the top and decorative carving in the arch behind the glazed front. Original hand printed charts to the back with Admiral Fitzroys predictions. Mercury action barometer tube set to the centre with twin remote vernier markers to the sides. Bone scale alcohol thermometer set to the base and storm tube to the opposite side. Bears the makers name Davis, London, sole Fitzroy barometer agent. Presented in excellent original condition and in full working order. Measures 47" high x 9" maximum width x 2.5" deep. Stock number 38113.
