Description

A matching set of six solid silver Victorian tea spoons with shell design wells and apostle top handles, plus matching tea strainer and sugar tongs; each hallmarked Birmingham 1896. Each silver spoon with shell shaped frilled edge well, barley twist stem and cast apostle to the end. Matching design tea strainer with pierced well and sugar tongs with shell shaped nips. Each bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmith William Devenport along with clear hallmarks. Each spoon measures 4" long x 0.85" wide at the well. Tongs measure 3.5" long and the strainer 4" long x 1.5" diameter at the well. Stock number 42683.
