A superb quality Edwardian heavy quality solid silver card box in the Art Nouveau style, hallmarked London 1909. Slightly domed overlapped hinged lid sat over polished sides with swags of floral decoration to the front and sides. Stylised pad feet to the base. The lid opening to reveal a polished inner lid edge and a gilt lined lid centre, the base section of the interior with original velvet lining. Bears the makers mark for George Fox. Weighs 20 oz net. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 7.25" wide x 5.25" deep x 2.75" high. Stock number 37283.
