Description

A Victorian bronze figural group of three putti cherubs playing instruments on a marble base with superb patination, after Claude Michel c.1880. Oval golden figured marble base with flat edge to the rear. The bronze cherubs to the surface each in classical form, one holding a horn, another a drum and the other a drum sticks. Superbly detailed throughout with a rich original patination to the bronze and perfect marble base. Base measures 8" wide x 5" deep x 8" high to top figures. Stock number 42371.
