Description

A Persian pure wool hearth sized rug from the north west Heriz area of Persia in superb unworn condition; cleaned ready for use c.1910. The close hand knotted pile in soft salmon pink to the centre section with floral burst motif to the rug centre and complementing geometric floral decoration to the background. Wine red geometric floral borders to the edge and triangular infills with champagne cream infill to the central border. Superb quality and condition with no ware or stains, presented in newly cleaned condition ready for use. Measures 48" long x 30" wide. Stock number 42679.
