A superb quality Persian pure wool 'Lilian' rug from the North West area of Persia in superb newly cleaned condition c.1900. The deep and close hand knotted rug with deep red background including tones of pink. Central medallion in tones of blues surrounded by an interlinked floral design in browns, golds, pinks and coral. Broad triple border to the outer edge with dark blue background and complementing floral design decoration. Presented in excellent unworn stain free condition, newly cleaned ready for use. Measures 89" long x 53" wide. Stock number 42703.
