A late Victorian solid silver babies rattle, whistle with mother of pearl soother by Adie & Lovekin c.1900. Embossed silver central section with four bells sat around the outer edge, working whistle to the top and scroll design embossed mount to the lower half, which is retaining the original mother of pearl soother. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Adie & Lovekin Ltd along with worn hallmarks. Presented in superb undamaged and complete condition. Measures 3.75" long x 2" diameter at the widest point. Stock number 42731.
