Description

A top quality Victorian turned and carved golden oak petal carved cased aneroid barometer with porcelain dial, fully serviced and working c.1885. The deep solid English oak turned case with dished centre and petal carved surround to the dial. White dial with weather predictions in red and black ornate lettering and aneroid movement set behind. Polished brass bezel with quarter plate bevelled edge glass and central reading marker to the front. Presented in immaculate condition with a rich colour and original patina, fully serviced and working. Measures 9.25" diameter with 5" diameter dial x 2.75" deep. Stock number 42957.
