Description

An unusual cast bronze ridding stirrup calling card holder with marble inset and silver card holder, hallmarked London 1946. Polished cast bronze stirrup with inset white veined marble panel and upstand, plus silver mount to the front to hold the calling cards. Bears the makers mark for London silversmith Puddefoot, Bowers & Simonett Ltd. Superb quality and detail, could also be used as a photo frame. Presented in excellent condition. Measures 4" wide x 2.25" deep x 4.75" high. Stock number 43259.
