An immaculate top quality Persian 12' long pure wool runner from the Hamadan area of Persia in unworn newly cleaned condition c.1920. Close hand knotted deep pile with a red background to the interlocking geometric floral design in tones of soft blues, oranges and browns. Narrow border in dark tones to the outer edge.
