12' Persian Pure Wool Runner Rug
A top qualiy Persian pure wool runner from the North West Heriz area of Persia in superb condition; newly cleaned ready for use c.1930. The close hand knotted pile in dark navy blue to the centre section with a continuous line of diamond shaped medallions along the center of the rug surrounded by a repeat pattern of geometric floral motifs in fawn, teal blue, dark red and soft orange. Slim soft red and fawn geometric border to the rug edge. Superb quality no stains or ware and presented in newly cleaned condition ready for use.
