1920's Moorcroft Orchid Flambe Vase
An immaculate Moorcroft 'Slipper Orchid' flambe glazed vase c.1920`s. Flared foot to the base with broad shoulders and narrow neck. The vase decorated with a continuous band of tube-lined slipper orchid flowers, which are painted in dark reds and yellows with complementing green leaves. The light flambe glaze turning darker towards the foot of the vase and giving a rich depth to the glaze. Bears William Moorcroft's signature and Moorcroft impressions to the base. Presented in immaculate perfect condition scratch free condition.
