Wide turned timber foot with urn shaped column above and original patinated ebonised finish. Brass crescent shaped axis above supporting the globe. The 8" paper mache globe in good original condition with clearly visible detail and original patina; revolving in the axis for viewing. Bears the maker's label for George Phillips & Sons, Fleet Street, London. Presented in good original condition with original unrestored finish.
