A superior quality Phillips of London 1930's 14" terrestrial globe on walnut foot. The 14" plaster globe with superb detail, the names of the countries indicating a date of manufacture between 1930 and 1935; superb detail, colour and patination. Stood on a broad turned walnut plinth foot with cast polished brass mount above, supporting the revolving globe with matching polished brass finial to the top of the globe. Bears the makers label of George Phillips, Fleet Street, London. Present in excellent original condition with no cracks and supe...rb polish, some minor blemishes to the globe, as to be expected for an item of this age. Measures 14" maximum diameter with 10" diameter foot x 21" high. Stock number CS160.
