A George V period solid cast silver cigarette or cheroot case with engine turned finish and immaculate gilt lined interior weighing 5.5 troy oz, hallmarked Birmingham 1921. Oblong form with clipped corners, the front with engine turned finish and blank cartouche. Bands of slightly raised decoration to each side with a complementing engine turned finish to the rear. Press release catch to the front; the case opening to reveal an immaculate unused gilt lined interior with retaining straps to each side to hold cigarettes in position.
