A superb quality Persian pure wool 'Lilian' rug from the North West area of Persia in superb newly cleaned condition c.1920. The deep hand knotted deep red background with tones of copper. Central medallion in tones of blues surrounded be an interlinked floral design in browns, golds pinks and champagne cream. Broad triple border to the outer edge with dark blue and brown backgrounds and matching floral design decoration. Presented in excellent unworn stain free condition, newly cleaned ready for use.
