Antique Edwardian Period 8" Oak Cased Dial Clock
A quality Edwardian period oak cased 8" dial clock retailed by Porter of Bolton. C1910. Original 8" painted dial with Roman numerals bearing the retailers name sat behind a hinged brass glazed bezel. Moulded book matched for piece frame with hinged door to access the movement to the base. 8 day sprung driven W&H movement with anchor escapement. Fully overhauled movement. Measures 10" diameter x 5" deep.
