A Mid Victorian antique oak country house stick barometer. c.1875. Made by Robert Bailey of Birmingham(w.1865-85). Original bone scale with twin thermometers and Vernier marker for yesterday and today readings. Visible mercury tube to the case. Stepped cistern cover to the base. Full working order. Measures 7"maximum at the base(5"wide at the top) x 3"deep x 42"long. Stock no.33134.
