Antique Regency Rosewood Brass Bound Writing Slope
An immaculate Regency period rosewood brass inlaid writing slope with original fitted interior. C.1830. Decorative double brass stringing to the top and sides with matching lock escution and panel to the lid. Opens to reveal a sloping fitted interior with leathered surface. Pen tray and twin ink wells (included but not shown) Lifting surfaces with storage areas below. Working original lock and key. Measures 15" wide x 9" deep x 4.5" high. SN 33385.
