A fine quality early George II silver lemon strainer, hallmarked London 1737. The hand formed bowl with pierced flower petal design forming the strainer, reeded rim to the exterior. Handles to either side in classical Georgian style sitting at the rim and wide enough to rest over a cup or bowl. Bears the maker's mark for London silversmith William Justis, beautiful quality and presented in immaculate condtion. Measures 3.3" diameter x 6" wide inc handles x 1" deep. Stock number 39582.
