Early Victorian Brass Country House Door Stop
An early Victorian weighted solid brass country house door stop with serpent handle c.1860. The flared bell shaped base with ridged foot and inset cast iron weight sat inside. Twisted column stem with detailed serpent design loop handle set to the top. Superb quality and condition, very heavy. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine. Measures 5.5" wide x 3" deep at the base x 9" high to top of the handle. Stock number 39637.
