Early Victorian Embossed Silver Gilt Lined Mustard Pot
A fine quality Victorian silver Mustard pot with hinged lid and gilded, hallmarked London 1863. The quality solid silver pot with slightly bellied sides which are embossed with floral decoration and a vacant cartouch to the side, flared foot with scalloped edge. Ornate loop handle set to the side with feathered engraving to the top. Stepped lid to the top with floral decoration to match the base, and a thumb plate to aid opening. The hinged lid with recess for holding the spoon, opens to reveal an immaculate gilt lined interior. Bears the makers mark DP along with clear hallmarks to all sec...tions. The pot presented in excellent original condition
