An early Victorian rosewood decorative brass trimmed Gentlemans travelling box with original fitted interior c.1840. The figured rosewood exterior with brass bound edges and repeating fretted decoration to the inner edges, plain cartouche to the centre to match the lock escutcheon. The hinged lid opening to reveal an original fitted interior with four glass bottles and stoppers, a leather pad to hold tools and lidded compartments.
