Description

An early Victorian yew wood low back Windsor chair with crinoline stretcher c.1840. Bent yew wood back and arms with fretted central splat and railed back, turned arm supports to the front. The turned legs supported by a crinoline stretcher, moulded ash seat above. Very comfortable and usable, original colour and rich polish, no breaks or repairs. Measures 20" wide x 20" deep x 35" high to top of the back x 16.5" seat height. Stock number 37574.
