An Edwardian Art Nouveau mahogany and fruitwood inlaid mantel clock with 8 day French movement c.1900. Scalloped top with thin waist running down to a moulded plinth foot, small brass bun feet below. The front of the figured mahogany case inlaid to a high standard with fruitwood inlays in the Art Nouveau style. Convex porcelain dial with Arabic numerals and blued steel hands set behind a convex glass set in a polished brass bezel, 8 day Paris made movement with platform escapement sat behind.
