An unusual Edwardian solid silver berry or straining spoon by Berthold Muller with import marks and Chester hallmark for 1902. The handle depicting a woodland spirit or gargoyle and the scalloped edge well with floral and woodland design decoration, small holes inbetween forming the strainer. Bears the makers mark for highly regarded silversmith Berthold Muller, London import marks and clear Chester hallmarks. Presented in immaculate unused condition. Measures 2.25" wide x 2.5" long x 0.5" deep at the well x 4.5" long overall. Stock number 42230.
