An Edwardian walnut and satinwood banded cased aneroid barometer by Weir & Sons, Dublin, fully serviced and working c.1910. The polished walnut case with figured timbers and broad satinwood crossbanded front edge. Aneroid movement sat behind a white porcelain dial with weather predictions sat around the inner edge and the makers name Weir & Sons, Dublin. Polished brass bezel with glazed viewing window and centre reading marker. Presented in excellent condition with a rich colour and original patina, fully serviced and working.
