An unusual and top quality Edwardian inlaid mahogany mantle clock with a Dutch girl set in marquetry to the stem of the case, fully overhauled and working c.1900. Moulded plinth foot with small bun feet below, narrow stem with square top section, stepped surface above. The figured solid mahogany case strung with fruitwood and superbly inlaid to the stem with a Dutch girl dressed in traditional costume. Porcelain convex dial with Arabic numerals and blued steel hands set behind a matching convex glass, which is set in a polished brass bezel. Paris made 8 day movement with platform escapement..., fully serviced and working. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine, fully serviced and working.
