A fine quality Edwardian fruitwood inlaid mahogany cased 8 day mantel clock with French movement in immaculate condition, fully restored and working c.1900. Swept top with flared sides and moulded edge plinth forming the foot with small brass bun feet below; chequered fruitwood stringing to the front with Sheraton sunburst to the waist. 8 day Paris made movement with platform escapement sat behind a porcelain enamel dial with Arabic numerals and blued steel hands. Polished brass bezel with bevel edge glass sat over the dial. Presented in immaculate condition, fully overhauled... and working. Measures 5.75" wide x 3.5" deep x 9" high. Stock number 40357.
