A superb late Victorian Sheraton inlaid mahogany banjo barometer and thermometer with porcelain scales c.1890. Beautifully shaped solid mahogany case with decorative fruitwood garlands inlaid design framing the barometer and thermometer, with an additional decoration of an urn to the base. The barometer with aneroid movement and porcelain dial sat behind a bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel with a centre reading marker.
