A stylish Edwardian fruitwood inlaid turned mahogany aneroid barometer with with skeletonised movement and silvered dial, fully serviced and working c.1900. The broad turned mahogany surround with decorative fruitwood inlays in the Art Nouveau style and brass hanging loop to the top. Silvered dial with weather predictions sat around the outer edge, skeletonised aneroid movement set to the centre. Polished brass bezel with inset glazed view window, reading marker set to the centre. Presented in superb condition with a rich colour and original patina to the casework.
