A fine quality Edwardian amboina inlaid mahogany open serpentine case mantel clock c.1900. The unusual serpentine shaped case with swept top and open section below sat on moulded plinth base. Fine amboina panels of inlays to either side of the dial and matching fruitwood stringing to the edges. 8 day Paris made movement with platform escapement sat behind a convex porcelain dial with Roman numerals with matching convex glass set in a polished brass bezel. Fully overhauled movement and presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 9.5" wide ...x 3.5" deep x 6.5" high. Stock number CB1330.
