Edwardian Inlaid Rosewood Desk
A superb Edwardian inlaid rosewood writing desk with drawers and compartments to the rear of the surface c.1910. The desk with rosewood veneers and extensive decorative inlays and string throughout. Original dark green leather writing surface with two set of false drawers sat to the rear, each with lifting lid above. The interiors fitted for letters, stationery and pens, adjoining shelf sat inbetween with mirrored panel below. Two sets of three drawers sat either side of the kneehole, each with inverted bow fronted, matching drawer to the centre. Sat on tappering legs with original brass ca...pped castors below, original brass fittings throughout. Beautifully made and presented in excellent original condition with a rich colour and patina. Writing surface is 29" high
