An Edwardian George I style oak joint stool with carved top rail c.1900. The single piece top with moulded sides and scalloped ends sat over a top rail carved with lunettes. Slightly splayed turned legs set to the corners with pegged joints, supported by a base stretcher. Original colour and polish, very sturdy and usable. Measures 18" long x 11" wide x 17.5" high.
