A superior quality Edwardian solid oak tambour front file cabinet with fitted interior c.1910. Moulded edge solid oak top sat over panelled sides and boarded back. Brass lock escutcheon to the top rail with key release for the falling tambour front (see video for demonstration) Opens to reveal an original fitted interior with eight file trays each with moulded solid oak front forming a handle, brass label holder and sign written labels. Each drawer takes an A4 file or paper. Working lock and key. Presented in superb condition with a rich colour and deep polish. Measures 34" high x 19" wide x ...16" deep. Stock number 38252.
