A fine quality Edwardian period solid silver oval box with Art Nouveau decoration to the lid, hallmarked Birmingham 1902. Oval form with hinged lid embossed with Art Nouveau decoration depicting a girl in a bonnet surrounded by a floral wreath. Polished sides and matching silver base, opens to reveal a clean interior. Bears the makers mark for Marples & Co, presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 4.5" wide x 2.5" deep x 1.25" high. Stock number 38525.
