Edwardian Silver Miniature Coal Scuttle Salt Cellar

A wonderfully detailed Edwardian Silver salt cellar in the form of a miniature coal scuttle, complete with matching scoop, hallmarked Birmingham 1906. Circular stepped base with flat underside for stability, the top section with open scoop design and domed back, which has a wire twist handle to the centre. Matching wire twist handle to the top with cradle below, which holds the original scoop style shovel used for sprinkling the salt. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham Jones & Cromton along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Superbly made and presented in immaculate unused condition.
