A fine quality Edwardian silver pot pourri with fretted top, which is inlaid with mother of pearl in the form of a pansy to the centre, hallmarked Birmingham 1909. The solid silver pot pourri with slightly domed top having fretwork decoration around the edges of the surface to allow the scent to escape, and a mother of pearl pansy flower head inlaid to the centre. The sides of the jar concave in form with the base section formed of polished silver. The push fit lid removes to access the gilt lined interior. Bears the makers mark for James Deakin & Sons along with clear hallmarks to all ...sections. Presented in immaculate condition.
