A fine quality Edwardian solid silver vesta case with superbly detailed cast silver retriever dog motif to the front, Birmingham 1905. The solid silver case slightly curved with rounded edges and corners for comfort in the pocket. Superbly detailed cast silver retriever dog motif set to the centre of the front. Hanging loop to the top corner, match striker to the base and snap top opening lid. The lid opening to reveal an immaculate gilt lined interior, bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Joseph Gloster along with clear hallmarks to all sections.
