An immaculate Edwardian solid silver vesta case with inset compass and engine turned finish, hallmarked Birmingham 1901. Oblong form with engine turned finish to all surfaces. Rounded corners and sides, along with match striker to the base. To the centre of the front side is a small inset compass, which has a dished gilt dial and is sat behind glass set in a rose gold bezel. The hinged snap top opens to reveal a clean interior. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Male & Jones, along with clear hallmarks. Presented in immaculate condition.
