A Fine George III period oak cased 8 Day longcase clock.c.1770. Brass and silvered dial with a rolling moon to the arched top. Date aperture and seconds count. Strikes on a bell to the hour. Made by William Wrench of Chester. Reeded columns to the case, repeated to the swan neck pediment hood. Full working order. Superb mid oak colour and patina. Stands 80"high. Stock no.31895.
