A Fine George III period mahogany cased double fuse bracket clock.c.1790. Silvered engraved dial with strike/silent and regulator dials to the arched top. 8 Day movement striking on a bell to the hour. Date aperture to the centre. Made by David Murray of Edinburgh(1755-1832). Cushion top case with fretwork decoration to the front and sides. Brass carry handle to the top and standing on bracket feet. Superb rich colour and patina. Full working order. Measures 12" x 8"deep x 22"high including handle. Stock no.30662.
