A Fine George III period mahogany inlaid stick barometer.c.1810 Made by Torre & Co of London (w.1805-1830). Silvered engraved scale with thermometer. Vernier marker for the pressure reading. Maker's name to the top. Glazed opening door to the scale. Broken arch pediment to the top, complete with finial. Visible tube to the case with fruitwood stringing. Turned cistern cover to the base. Full working order. Measures 4.5" widest at base x 3"deep x 39"long. Stock number 35085.
