A Fine Mid Georgian oak and mahogany cross banded 8 Day longcase clock.c.1760. Brass and silvered dial with 'penny' moon to the engraved centre. Strikes on a bell to the hour. Shaped top case door flanked by turned columns. Repeated to the moulded cornice hood with a painted glass panel. Made by Brown of Manchester. Full working order. Superb colour and patina. Stands 78"high.
