A Fine Mid Victorian mahogany inlaid Weather Station.c.1880. Fruitwood scales to the instruments. Mercury action visible tube to the centre with double vernier marker for yesterday and today. Minimum and maximum thermometers to the centre. Hygrometer and thermometer to the base. Turned cistern cover. Figured mahogany panel and fruitwood inlay to the centre. Made by John Lilley & Son of Newcastle and London(w.1846-1900). Full working order. Superb colour and patina. Measures 38"long x 8"wide x 4"deep.
