A fine original Oil on Canvas of Venice by Antoine Bouvard Senior, otherwise known as Marc Aldine. Known as one of the most prolific painters of the Venetian genre of the early 20th Century. Typical of his work, capturing the atmosphere and charm of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Deep blue sky to draw the eye in. Boats and vessels on the water with St Pauls in the background. Signed to the lower left, Marc Aldine his pseudonym. In a good timber gilt frame. Measures 30" wide x 2.5" deep x 26" high overall.
