A fine quality Edwardian period inlaid mahogany cased desk top barometer with engraved silvered scale C.1900. Shaped case with decorative fruitwood and satinwood inlays sat on a fruitwood strung base with brass feet. Fine quality engraved silvered scale bearing the makers name' Thomas Armstrong & Bros, Manchester & Liverpool. Sat behind a bevelled edge glass with central reading marker, polished brass bezel. Fully overhauled aneroid movement. Mint condition. Measures 6" wide x 2.25" deep x 6.5" high.
