A fine quality George V period solid silver tea caddy with superb engraved decoration, hallmarked Chester 1924. Formed in classical George III style with domed hinged lid to the top and bellied sides. Greek key design boarder to the lid with ebony finial to the centre forming a handle, the upper edge with triple lined engraving, reeded waist line below. The centre of the caddy with a continuous band of engraved floral design decoration and circular Greek key design panel below with matching boarder above the foot.
