A fine quality George III period solid silver vinaigrette with engine decoration and immaculate gilt lined interior, hallmarked London 1827. The exterior with panels of engine turned finish decoration to the top, sides and underside, the top with blank cartouche to the centre; the hinged lid opening to reveal an immaculate unused gilt lined interior with fretted hinged cover to keep the scented sponge behind. Bears the makers for highly regarded silversmith Joseph Wilmore along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Superbly made and presented in immaculate unused condition.
