A fine quality George III period engraved silver vinaigrette in the form of a purse, hallmarked Birmingham 1816. Slightly domed sides with superb quality and detailed engraving giving the appearance of a purse of the period. The hinged case opening to reveal a clean gilt lined interior with fretted hinged internal cover for keeping the scented cloth behind. Bears the makers mark for Samuel Pemberton along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 1.25" wide x 1" deep x 0.5" high.
